The Community Pistol League (CPL) is a Rochester Rifle Club program for individuals firing the National Gallery Course of fire. Most competitors use .22 caliber pistols but the competition is not limited to .22 caliber.
The National Gallery Course of fire at 50' is 30 shots:
Competitions are Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 8pm. Twenty-four matches are fired from mid-September through late March with breaks for the holidays.
We welcome all new members. You don't have to be an expert marksman to shoot in the league and have a good time. Many of the members will gladly provide a little training and show the novice how to get started. CPL offers the opportunity to shoot for enjoyment from beginner to serious competitor. You are welcome to join even during mid-season.
